    Below you will find a helpful list of frequently asked questions in order to help with the referral process.

  • What if I have a patient that needs to be seen urgently?

    If you have a patient that requires urgent attention, please mark the referral as “urgent” and/or give us a call at 616-320-5450 and we will get them in ASAP, often within the same week. 

  • Do you take pediatric patients?

    Yes, with a special focus on pediatric inflammatory skin disease such as Atopic Dermatitis, Psoriaisis, HS, and Vitiligo.

  • Does RCD require my physicians to see the patient prior to an acne referral?

    No. Please send them our way! 

  • Who handles the referrals and how do I contact that person?

    Gretchen, our front desk coordinator, handles referrals and she will be happy to assist you at (616) 320-5450, ext. 1, or at frontdesk@rivercityderm.com.
